Maybe you’ve noticed that your baby responds when you play a song in the car or sing to soothe him. Babies are naturally musical—and you don’t have to be a great singer or dancer yourself to nurture their love of music. In this music class for babies, your Music Together teacher will show you how you can support your baby’s music development through simple and fun activities. You’ll learn lots of musical ways to connect with your little one through music, and you’ll bond with the other new parents in your class, too.
Interactive Music Classes for New Parents - Your little one was born ready to make music! In this special class for parents with babies under nine months old, you'll learn lots of fun, interactive music activities that will support your child's growth in so many areas, including their physical, socio-emotional, language, and early brain development. Your expert teacher will also share ideas for how music can help you get through your day. And you'll join a community of other parents who are just as sleep-deprived as you! The best part? There is no screen time for your little one.
We will offer our Babies Only class as an outdoor program as well. Families will also have the option to conitinue their music making term with an online add-on after the rainy season is upon us.
“My daughter was a colicky baby who was difficult to soothe. Although she was held, rocked, crooned, and sung to constantly, nothing seemed to help . . . until the 'Hello Song' entered our lives. The 'Hello Song' could immediately stop crying spells, even if just for a short time, and other songs from the Tambourine collection had a similar effect! We were immediately hooked!” —Nicole Y., Long Island, NY
