Rhythm Kids^® offers a fun-packed musical time together with a focus on drumming as well as singing, music games, and lots of high energy stomping-flying-climbing good time for chidlren ages 4-5 and their parents. In this parent participation class, students will also have opportunities to lead their peers, to solo, and to improvise and to work as an ensemble while learning rhythms inspired by musical traditions around the world, from West African Gahu, to Japanese Taiko, to Brazilian Samba. Rhythm Kids^® songbook, CD, music download and at home practice videos included. Drum required for class. Bring your own drum OR purchase a djembe from the community centre front desk!
